Space Invader Pectinia Coral (Pectinia sp.)

Description:
The Space Invader Pectinia Coral is one of the most striking and instantly recognizable LPS corals in the reef-keeping hobby. It features an intense neon green body contrasted by brilliant yellow eyes and deep black to blue ridges, giving it a vibrant, alien-like appearance — hence its name, Space Invader. Under blue or actinic lighting, this coral glows with unbelievable fluorescence, making it an immediate centerpiece in any display reef.

Known for its dramatic, branching ridges and flowing folds, Pectinia sp. grows into an intricate chalice-like structure that adds depth and movement to your aquascape. Despite its exotic looks, it is relatively hardy once acclimated, rewarding aquarists with continuous growth and incredible colour intensity.

Care Level: Moderate
Temperament: Aggressive (long sweeper tentacles; provide space)
Placement: Lower to mid areas of the tank, on rockwork with room for expansion.
