The Cynarina Coral, also known as the Button Coral or Cat’s Eye Coral, is a stunning large-polyp LPS coral prized for its oversized fleshy mantle and radiant jewel-like coloration. Feeding & Nutrition:
While photosynthetic, Cynarina corals respond very well to direct feeding. Offer mysis shrimp, LPS pellets, finely chopped marine foods, or reef roids once or twice weekly. Nighttime feeding is especially effective, as the coral extends feeding tentacles and inflates for nutrient capture. Regular feeding helps maintain vibrant coloration and full polyp inflation.
