The Reef-Spec Carbon provides a very high total adsorption capacity and rapid removal of the organic pollutants that are specifically found in reef aquariums. This is due to the Reef-Spec Carbon’s granular size and its micro/macro porous structure.
Red Sea’s Reef-Spec Carbon has an extremely low phosphate leaching and minimal ash content while also not affecting the pH of the water.
This all results in Red Sea’s Reef-Spec Carbon needing to be replaced less frequently than none reef-specific carbons, providing a more cost-effective solution while also providing the very best water quality in your marine and reef aquarium.
